Michigan State basketball senior forward Gavin Schilling suffered a knee injury last Friday during a practice just before MSU's annual tip-off "MSU Madness".

There is no current timetable for his return to the court.  Schilling is the second Spartan lost to a knee injury.  Graduate transfer Ben Carter is out indefinitely with a knee injury suffered earlier in the preseason.

Schilling was expected to start at center for the Spartans.  He is eligible to take a redshirt and return for the 2017-18 season as a fifth-year senior.
