ICYMI: Diamond Classic Field Set

The 56th annual Dean Shippey Capital Diamond Classic high school baseball tournament is set to begin on Monday, May 22nd.  The pairings were announced on Monday afternoon.

DeWitt and Holt lead the 10-team field.  Grand Ledge also made the field as the defending champion.  The Comets have the won the Classic a record 26 times.

First round games begin May 22nd at Kircher/Municipial Park.  Quarterfinal games are on May 23rd and 25th at Kircher.  The semifinals and finals will be the week of June 5th.
