After an injury suffered in a pregame skate to Arizona Coyotes backup goalie Anders Lindback made him unavailable for Monday's game versus the Montreal Canadiens.  The team made a call to Glendale, Arizona-area banker Nathan Schoenfeld (pictured) to serve as the team's backup goalie to starter Louis Domingue,

Schoenfeld didn't play in the Coyotes 6-2 win over the Habs, but he was give the team's Most Valuable Player belt in the locker room after the game.

Schoenfeld signed the emergency tryout agreement in the locker room 30 minutes before the game, and spent the entire game on the bench.

Each NHL team has lists of emergency goalies in each NHL city in cases like this, but it is rare for teams to actually sign goalies from off the street.
