ESPN is reporting that the Green Bay Packers have agreed to a four-year contract extension with franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers (pictured) late Wednesday night.

The deal features the largest guaranteed money in NFL history with around $103 million guaranteed.  The contract will take effect in the 2020 season, Rodgers has two years left on his current deal with the Packers.

Rodgers was the Packers' first round draft pick in 2005 out of California.  And he took over as Green Bay's starting QB in 2008, replacing Hall of Famer Brett Favre.

He led the Packers to victory in Super Bowl XLV over the Pittsburgh Steelers, and has won the NFL's Most Valuable Player twice (2011 and 2014)
