After previously decommitting from Michigan State to re-evaluate his options, Hunter Rison out of Ann Arbor Skyline has re-committed to the Michigan State Spartans.

Even Rison is aware of the timing of his announcement, but he assures the Spartan faithful it's no joke saying "MSU deserves a national title and I just want to help in any way I can"

After Rison had decommitted back in November of 2015 he received offers from 14 different schools including Big Ten foes Ohio State, Penn State, Nebraska and some football powers in the likes of Oregon, Oklahoma and Miami (FL).

Rison was the first commitment for the 2017 class before his decommit, but now he joins three other athletes set to come to MSU in the 2017 class thus far.

Michigan State's 2017 recruiting class now ranks 31st in the country according to 247Sports in a very early time in the recruiting game.
