Houston Hires Applewhite

The University of Houston has announced that they've promoted the football team's offensive coordinator, Major Applewhite to the head coaching position vacated by the departed Tom Herman.

Applewhite has been the O-Coordinator for the Cougars the last two seasons.  He is a former Texas Longhorn QB and has worked with Mack Brown and Nick Saban as an assistant.
