The Windsor Catholic Central Comets had an amazing basketball player fall into their lap when Jonathon Nicola was brought from Africa to Canada as part of a student home stay program. The reason he was so good? He was over a decade older than all of his competitors.

The Windsor Star and USA Today reports that Nicola, who was found to be 30 years old not 17 as he had claimed, is now being detained by Canadian officials in connection with the Immigration Refugee Protection Act.

Nicola lived with the Comets head coach while in Canada as part of the aforementioned student home stay program.

Check out a highlight video that coach made of Nicola here, and you tell me that's a teenager. A 6'9" or 6'10" (depending on if you look at tape or documented forms) 202 pound teenager.
