He’s Back!

After six long weeks of Miguel Cabrera-less baseball where the Tigers went 15-20, number 24 returns to first base where he belongs.

As it says in the tweet not only will Cabrera be playing his position but hitting third in the lineup.

The Tigers take on the Houston Astros tonight in a three game weekend set in Houston. First pitch for tonight's game is scheduled for 8:10 eastern time.

The Tigers offense will surely welcome Cabrera back. Though it should be noted that the Tigers actually held down the offense without him. The Tigers averaged 4.4 runs scored per game. Pre-Miggy injury, the Tigers averaged 4.38.
