Famed country singer Hank Williams, Jr.'s version of "All My Rowdy Friends" which has been a part of Monday Night Football off and on since 1989 will return to the MNF opening segment this coming season, ESPN is reporting on Monday morning.

Williams' song was taken off the air by ESPN back in 2011 after he made controversial political remarks at that time.

Williams is one of the best-known musicians of all time in any genre of music.  He has won Entertainer of the Year five times and was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2007.
