Perennial powers Grand Ledge and Holt won quarterfinal games on Thursday night at Cooley Law School Stadium in Lansing to move on to the semifinals of the Dean Shippey Capital Diamond Classic.

Grand Ledge moved to 25-2 on the season after shutting out Williamston in the first game:  Recap from the Lansing State Journal.

Holt blanked Fowlerville behind the pitching of senior Burrell Jones:  LSJ Recap.

The semifinals of the 57th annual event are set.  Grand Ledge will face Lansing Catholic in the first semifinal at 5:00 on June 4th.  That's followed by Holt against defending champion DeWitt at 7:00.

The championship game is schedule for June 6th at 7:00pm at Cooley Law School Stadium.
