U.S. Captain Jim Furyk and European Captain Thomas Bjorn announced the four-ball matches set to be played tomorrow morning on the opening day of the 42nd Ryder Cup Matches, which are being played at Le Golf National near Paris, France.

The four-ball, or better ball, matches will begin at 8:10am local time (2:10am, Lansing time) with American team of Tony Finau and U.S. Open and PGA champion Brooks Koepka versus the European team of Olympic Gold Medalist and this year's FedEx Cup champion Justin Rose and Spanish star Jon Rahm.

That's followed by Dustin Johnson & Rickie Fowler (USA) against Rory McIlroy & Thorbjorn Oleson (Europe) in Match 2.

Match 3 has Justin Thomas/Jordan Spieth (USA) vs. Paul Casey/Tyrell Hatton (Europe), with the final match of the session being Tiger Woods/Patrick Reed (USA) against Open Champion Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood (Europe).

Each match is worth 1 point.  If the match ends tied after 18 holes, both teams get 1/2 point.  The afternoon foursomes matches, or alternate shot, will be announced at or near the end of the morning session.

The U.S. is the holder of the Ryder Cup, having won it two years ago at Hazeltine National GC in Minnesota.
