Media outlets are reporting that Iowa State Head Basketball Coach Fred Hoiberg is on his way to Chicago to complete his deal and become the new head coach of the Chicago Bulls.

Hoiberg was a former Iowa State player and later played in the NBA.  He's been the coach of the Cyclones the last five seasons.  Iowa State won the Big 12 Tournament this past season, but lost in the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament to Alabama-Birmingham.

"The Mayor" as he's called, would replace Tom Thibodeau, who was fired last week by the Bulls.
