Flint Firebirds Host Fourth-Annual ‘Tropics Night’
The fourth-annual Flint Firebirds "Tropics Night is this Saturday at Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center.
Get the family together and head to the Dort Event Center as the Flint Firebirds take on the Owen Sound Attack. The puck drops at 7 pm, but get there early for the fourth-annual "Flint Tropics Night."
To pay tribute to the Will Ferrell classic "Semi-Pro," the Flint Firebirds will once again be wearing the special Flint Tropics themed jerseys during the game, complete with matching pants and socks. Immediately after the game, the Firebirds will host a live jersey auction. Fans will have the chance to bid on and take home the one-of-a-kind, game-worn, Flint Tropics/Firebirds hockey jersey of their choice. All the proceeds will be donated to the Firebirds Charitable Foundation that benefits local youth organizations in Flint and Mid-Michigan.
