Here are the Five Things for December 11th:

1.  Gary Andersen (above) has left Wisconsin and will become the head football coach at Oregon State.  He replaces Mike Riley, who left for Nebraska last week.

2.  Baseball's Winter Meetings conclude today in San Diego.  The Rule 5 Draft is today.

3.  The Philadelphia Phillies have traded longtime shortstop Jimmy Rollins to the Los Angeles Dodgers.  Rollins had spent his entire 15-year career with the Phillies.

4.  The Detroit Red Wings fell to the Toronto Maple Leafs 2-1 in an overtime shootout last night at Joe Louis Arena.  The Wings host the Florida Panthers on Friday night.

5.  The Golden State Warriors won their 14th straight game.  They defeated the Houston Rockets 105-93.  Klay Thompson led the way with 21 points.  The W's are a league-best 19-2 on the season.
