Eight Area Teams In Michigan H.S. Football AP Rankings

Entering the final week of the regular season, there are eight Mid-Michigan teams in the Michigan Associated Press high school football rankings, released on Tuesday morning.

Unbeatens DeWitt, Portland, Pewamo-Westphalia, and Morrice look to finish off 9-0 regular season campaigns with victories this weekend.

Other teams ranked include East Lansing, Williamston, Lansing Catholic, and Ithaca.  Williamston plays at P-W this Friday night in a battle of league champions.

The Michigan High School football playoff pairings will be announced next Sunday night (October 21st).
