The East Lansing Trojans made it 10 victories in their last 11 contests with a 56-35 win over Lansing Catholic on Tuesday night at East Lansing High School.

The Trojans used 8-11 3 point shooting to take a 32-17 lead at the half.  And they rode the Myles brothers to the win.  Mikhail Myles led East Lansing with 24 points and 6 rebounds while younger brother Westin had 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Lansing Catholic was led by senior guard Matthew Fata, who had 13 points and 3 assists.  The Cougars whittled down a 19 point deficit to nine in the fourth quarter.  But a technical foul on junior forward Tony Poljan turned control of the game back to East Lansing.

East Lansing's defense forced the Cougars into 9-37 field goal shooting for the game.  And they allowed only three baskets in the second half.

East Lansing moves to 12-7 on the season, Lansing Catholic falls to 11-8.  Both teams have one game remaining before districts.  E.L. plays at Waverly while Lansing Catholic hosts Holt.  Both games are set for Thursday night.
