Noah Schon is an up and coming player for the East Lansing Trojans boys basketball program. Over the weekend the country got to know his name, if only for a moment.

Schon, a junior this upcoming season, has been playing in the Las Vegas Fab 48 Diamond Division with the Michigan Titans 16U AAU team this summer.

The team was in a tie game with the Oklahoma Primetime when Schon took a pass from Holt's Artavious King and hit the winner from about 50 feet out.

Check out the hashtag in that tweet. The good folks at Bristol, Connecticut took notice of it.

Schon said he had hopes it would make it on Sportscenter because there was another buzzer beater from the tournament in there the night before.

Schon talking to the Lansing State Journal's Brian Calloway: “It gives me a lot of confidence, I just know when the high school season comes I just need to play my game and work well with teammates."
