Draymond Green Uses the WNBA as a Learning Device
The WNBA might not get the recognition or rating of it's male counterpart league, but some NBA players see the WNBA as a learning tool.
Talking with Sports Illustrated, Green is quoted: "In the NBA there's always a guy who is only around because he can jump. He doesn't have a clue about the fundamentals. I learn more from the WNBA. They know how to dribble, how to pivot, how to use the shot fake."
Green says in his free time he watches WNBA games to develop his knowledge about the game of basketball.
This coming from a player who finished in the top 10 in MVP voting and second in defensive player of the year voting, he might be on to something.
