NBA star forward for the Golden State Warriors and former Michigan State Spartan Draymond Green apparently has an ongoing group text with four former Pistons according to Chauncey Billups.

Billups made the revelation during an appearance on Michael Rapaport’s “I Am Rapaport” podcast.

In the exchange, Billups explains that Green was good friends with Joe Dumars’ son Jordan.

As a result, Green spent much time around the Palace of Auburn Hills where the Pistons played prior to the 2017-18 season.

“We raised Draymond. That’s my son. We raised him,” Billups went on to say of the team’s relationship with Green.

With Greens penchant for a flair and trash talking in the NBA, it’s no surprise Pistons like Ben Wallace, Rip Hamilton and Rasheed Wallace had a large influence on him during his childhood.

When it comes to the champion of chirping, Billups still believes Rasheed Wallace owns that title.
