Cody Bellinger homered and drove in two runs, and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 3-1, to complete a three-game sweep of the 2017 National League Division Series in Phoenix on Monday night.

With the victory, the N.L. West champion-Dodgers advanced to play the winner of the Cubs-Nationals matchup in the best-of-seven National League Championship Series starting on Saturday in Los Angeles.

Winning pitcher Yu Darvish struck out seven batters in five innings for the Dodgers. The only run he gave up came on a homer by Daniel Descalso in the bottom of the fifth. Closer Kenley Jansen recorded a three-out save in the ninth, including fanning Paul Goldschmidt to end the game.

Austin Barnes added a solo shot for Los Angeles in the top of the sixth. First baseman Bellinger made a circus catch on a foul ball in the dugout to aide his team's effort.

Former Dodger Zack Grienke took the loss for Arizona, which led for just three innings of the entire series. He walked five batters in five innings of work.
