At the annual Big Ten Football Media Days in Chicago on Tuesday morning, Michigan State head football coach Mark Dantonio (pictured above) revealed that linebacker Jon Reschke is back on the roster, nearly 18 months after Reschke apologized for "insensitive" comments made during the 2016 football season.

Dantonio said, however, that Reschke's playing status for the 2018 season will be determined by the other football players on the team, including MSU's famous "leadership council".

Reschke missed the 2017 season, where it was presumed that he would transfer to another school for his final year of eligibility.  But, after hurting his knee, Reschke returned to MSU.  And according to Dantonio, he graduated from the university and applied for a sixth year of eligibility for 2018.

The Spartans are projected to finish 2nd in the Big Ten Eastern Division, according to a recent poll of Big Ten writers on cleveland.com.
