Charles Matthews Returning To Michigan For Junior Season

Redshirt sophomore Charles Matthews (pictured) announced on Wednesday that he will return to the University of Michigan men's basketball team next season for his redshirt junior season.

Matthews announced in April that he would enter the NBA Draft but not hire an agent, thus keeping the window open to return to Ann Arbor.

He helped the Wolverines to the Big Ten Tournament championship in March, and was a key figure in Michigan's run to the National Championship game in April in San Antonio.

Wednesday at 11:59pm is the deadline day for college underclassmen to decide whether to stay in the June draft or return to their respective colleges/universities.
