The Chicago Cubs are one of the hottest teams in all of Major League Baseball. This franchise has not won a World Series since 1908. There have been many reasons why, but this franchise has just flat out stunk. Sure, there have been seasons over the years when they got close to winning. But, this team has been cursed and somewhat snake bit. If you’re not superstitious, you won't believe in the Billy goat curse or the Steve Bartman curse. They exist!

For years this franchise has accumulated a worldwide fan base but they still have smelled. Finally, this franchise under new management and ownership has turned things around. The Chicago Cubs are now for real. They have a new general manager in Theo Epstein, many new young outstanding ball players and a very solid manager in Joe Madden.

Joe Madden was the manager for the Tampa Bay Rays for many years. He took this team to one World Series where they lost to the Philadelphia. Madden, is an expert at motivating young and old players. They have a great core of both. Like, Rizzo, Gentry, Heywood, Arietta, Lackey and Schwarber.  The Cubs are rolling but there is a lot of season to go. The Chicago Cubs haven't been back to the fall classic since 1908. Can this year, be Madden's and his player’s season to win a World Series?
