The Bullough's are a proud football playing family with roots that draw heavily to Michigan State. Now those roots have branched out into another NFL franchise.

In a series of roster moves today the Houston Texans brought on three new linebackers to their 53-man squad. One of them is Max Bullough, former Spartan. He is the only one of those three to be brought up from Houston's own practice squad.

Bullough joins two other Spartans on the Houston roster. QB Brain Hoyer and WR Keith Mumphrey are also listed on the Texans' 53-man active roster.

In an unrelated note the Texans also recently traded Keshawn Martin, another former Spartan, to New England. Martin caught a touchdown pass on Sunday.
