After 18 seasons, 10 Big 12 Championships and one national championship win, Bob Stoops is stepping down as head coach of Oklahoma University Football.

The Oklahoman's Berry Tramel broke the story earlier today. According to an unnamed university source, offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley will step in to Stoops' role at the start of next season.

"It is expected that Stoops will remain with the university in some capacity," Tramel writes.

Stoops walks away with an impressive 190-48 record as OU Head Coach.
