Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is out for the season after having season-ending back surgery. Romo has played most of the season with a herniated disk in his back, he threw 31 touchdowns.

Doctors told Romo he needed the surgery sooner rather than later. Cowboys officials expect Romo to be ready for OTAs next spring. Tony Romo has taken a lot of gas in the past few years. The Cowboys have been a snake bit franchise with Romo in charge. His play has been like being on a roller coaster, up and down all the time. With no Super Bowl appearances in his career.

For Romo, his surgery ends another statistically outstanding but perhaps his most disappointing season. So, Tony Romo goes on injured reserve with back surgery. His career has been like a yo-yo. This guy is just unlucky and cannot stay healthy.
