Chris Monroe’s radio journey began back in April of 2004. He started as an intern for the night show of a local Top 40 station. A few years later, he caught wind of a weekend opening for Banana 101.5 and jumped on it. Nearly two decades later, he is the Promotions Director for the greatest station in the universe, Banana 101.5, as well as the Regional Production Director for all of Townsquare’s radio stations in Flint and Kalamazoo. Chris feels very lucky to be doing what he is now. The Machine Shop has become a home away from home and he loves being a part of every Banana event. His two favorites are the Banana Bad Golfers League and the Bad Bowlers League. It's a blast to be able to spend so much time and hang out with all the kick-ass listeners. Life is good, cheers!
