Andrew Luck Signs Extension With Colts
Quarterback Andrew Luck has signed a five-year extension to remain with the Indianapolis Colts, that's according to Colts owner Jim Irsay, via his Twitter account.
Luck replaced Peyton Manning as the team's cornerstone when he was drafted with the first pick of the first round of the 2012 draft out of Stanford. The NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting that deal is worth over $75 million over the first three years of the deal.. He is now under contract through 2021.
He led the Colts to the AFC title game after the 2014 season, where they lost to New England. Luck had injuries in 2015, which set the team back to 8-8.
