Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers is winding down. Kobe Bryant, out of Lower Merion High school outside of Philly has had a Hall of Fame career. He is a second generation NBA player. His dad is "Jelly" Bean Bryant who played many years in the NBA. When he was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets, they immediately traded him to the Lakers. Kobe was drafted in 1996, in the first round.

Kobe Bryant, who has helped the LA Lakers win five NBA championships over a 20-year career. He will retire after the conclusion of this season. He is 37 years old and has had a very great polarizing career. Bryant, was a 2 times Finals MVP, also, the NBA MVP in 2008. Bryant was an 18 times NBA All-star. His lists of accomplishments are never ending. But, Kobe had some intense problems with his personality and with teammates.

Kobe Bryant was involved in a very public rape allegation situation in Eagle, Colorado. In 2004, the Kobe Bryant rape case was dismissed after prosecutors said the woman who had accused Mr. Bryant of sexual assault was unwilling to testify. Kobe also had a running feud with teammate Shaq O'Neil during their playing time in Los Angeles. Both players are going to be in Hall of Fame. Kobe Bryant will always be remembered as one of the all-time greats ever in the NBA.
