In the spirit of the season, Jeff Fisher has had eight crazy nights.

On December 4, the Rams announced they signed head coach Jeff Fisher to a two-year extension.

On December 11, the Rams (coached by Fisher) lost to the Atlanta Falcons 42-14. They were down 42-0 heading into the 4th quarter. That loss tied Jeff Fisher for the most losses as a head coach all-time.

And today (December 12), eight days after extending his contract, the Rams have relieved Jeff Fisher from his duties. Special Teams Coordinator John Fassel takes over the job on an interim basis.

There's no word on how much money Fisher made, if any, from being fired. It is possible his new contract's terms wouldn't apply until next season.
