The NFL Announced the rosters for the 2018 edition of the Pro Bowl all-star game which will be held in Orlando on January 28. As of the first edition of the NFC roster the Detroit Lions will be sending one player.

So who is it? Matthew Stafford? No. Glover Quin? No. Tate or Jones? No and no. Matt Prater? No.

The answer you would be looking for is Darius Slay.

Slay has 52 tackles on the year and has posted a career high 20 pass deflections so far this season. He also has seven interceptions to lead the NFL as of this writing. He is also tied for the NFL lead in pass breakups with Casey Hayward of the Chargers.

Tim Twentyman reports that the Lions have five players in the reserves spot for the NFC roster should a player miss the game due to injury or playing in the Super Bowl.

After the reveal the Pittsburgh Steelers led all teams with eight selections, the Saints and the Eagles held the joint NFC lead with six a piece. Five teams did not have a single player get into the Pro Bowl. The Colts, Browns, Jets, Bears and Packers were those teams without a pro bowler.
